A visit to Curaçao is not complete without visiting the highest point of Curaçao, Christoffel Mountain. The maintain is the heart of the island’s largest national park the Christoffel Park.
Hiking up Mount Christoffel takes you about 1 to 1,5 hours. While hiking up the mountain you can enjoy enjoy the rich variety of local flora and fauna. Once you reach the top you have a spectacular view over the western part of the Island.
The best time to hike up the mountain is early in the morning and see the sun rise while climbing up the mountain. Don’t forget to wear firm shoes and bring enough water, especially when approaching the top you will have to show some climbing skills.
